Zed Services removes the hassle and stress of maintaining communal areas for property and block managers, estate agents, and landlords. As of 2024, we’ve expanded our services to include full drainage solutions, offering comprehensive property maintenance under one reliable provider.

Meet Zak

My name’s Zak. I started as a cleaner in 2014, going place to place with my trusty mop and sprays. I cleaned many types of properties and over the years built up my team.

I started this business because I realised that cleaning isn’t complex – by contrast, we all have to clean things in our lives and we learn to from a very young age. But for property managers and block managers, maintaining the appearance of communal areas is an excessive headache. Unreliable cleaners who arrive late – if at all – and don’t do the job properly has somehow become the norm.

My goal at Zed Services is simply to change that. I set out to build a system and team that offer simple, reliable, no-headache cleaning and gardening.

I don’t pretend to be experts in specialist cleans – you’re not going to call me for decontaminating a nuclear spill. I’m not offering a particularly luxury service and you’ll never hear me make claims such as, “our cleaning is the best in the city”. Cleaning and gardening really isn’t that complicated. We do a quality, consistent job for our faithful clients, week in, week out.

Reliability

To rely means, “depend on with full trust or confidence”. When you can rely on someone or something, you don’t need to think about it. You don’t need to worry about it. You don’t need to get involved.

Maintaining communal areas is important, but for many people it’s more stress than it should be. Trying to recruit cleaners and gardeners, only to have them let you down, not do the job properly and even cause tenant complaints.

We offer a hands-off, no-brainer service. Once we’re set-up, we take full responsibility for maintaining your communal areas. Our in-house staff arrive with everything they need, are familiar with the property and don’t leave until the job is done.

If your tenants need to report an issue or extra cleaning, they can do so directly to us – we’ll just ask for your authorisation before the extra visit.

Systematic Transparency

It’s all well and good to say we’re reliable – but it’s guaranteed by the transparency generated by our system.

Every day, our cleaners collect keys and equipment from HQ and travel to properties in their uniforms, with briefings on their phones. They digitally sign-in to each location, which is cross-referenced with their GPS location. They then upload “Before” pictures to the property archive, clean and do the same with “After” pictures.

If you ever need to know which products have been used; need to check arrival times; want to verify photos of the cleaning, you have direct access to the platform. You can see all the data without having to contact our staff.

Investment

When committing to a job, you have to commit fully. You have to invest, to succeed. We’re 2 decades into the 21st century and believe all service providers should be reflecting that in the technologies they employ.

As well as our custom-built online platform, which makes it easier for you to view and manage your cleaning, we invest in the latest techniques, products and machinery, so that our service is the best it can be.

Our automated billing system is exactly how you’d expect to pay a regular bill – you shouldn’t have to stress about remembering cash or typing in account numbers for BACS every month.

We also want to make sure we’re doing our bit for the environment – all our vans are electric.
